All C&I Organizations Second Annual Meeting

Honorary speaker: Dr. Barrera, Dean of College of Education
Keynote speaker: Dr. Werner, Department Chair of College of Education and the Officers
of the Student Organizations
Highlights: Dean Barrera welcomed all students and gave the a few words of wisdom on education
and career as educators. Dr. Werner expressed her support for all the organizations. Then each organization introduced
their roles and officers. The four C&I organizations present were the Association for Childhood Education International,
the Bilingual Education Student Organization, Kappa Delta Pi, and San Marcos Student Reading Council.
The meeting was a HUGE success. We had well more than 100 attendees and many were very interested in getting involved
with one or more organizations.
